Payment Policy

Payment Due in full no later than 7 days before event

For events over 2k 50% deposit is required upon receipt of invoice

Rush Fee 10% for catering requests less than one week prior to event

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made at least seven days prior to the event date will be given a full refund

Cancellations less than seven days prior to the event are subject to a 30% cancellation fee.

Service Charge

Masala Catering will add a 20% service charge, based on food and beverage costs only, to all invoices.

Levels of Service

Basic Delivery Service – Food and beverages are delivered to your location and the host is responsible for presentation for guests. Basic delivery charges apply.

Basic Setup – Food and beverages are delivered to your location, set up and presented for your guests. Basic delivery and cost of staff time to provide these services will apply. Should your event require equipment that we provide, a return trip fee may be necessary or arrangements for the host to return these items may be discussed.

Full Service Catering with Service Staff is only available for Masala Lab rentals

Rental of Masala Lab– If you would like to host your event in our lovely dining room at Masala Lab, we can accommodate up to 50 people. The space rental includes one staff member on site for the entire event and a cleaning fee. The rental fee is $500.

Rental of Masala Lab Party Room- For a more intimate event for up to 12 guests, the Party Room at Masala Lab is available for rental. The fee is $200

We can offer several levels of service for your event at Masala Lab, in the main dining room or the party room:

Buffet Service– We will set up the food buffet-style, and guests serve themselves.

Family Style Table Service – We will provide large platters for each table, guests serve themselves

Individually Plated Courses

Rental Equipment

As a full-service caterer, we would love to take care of your rental equipment needs, and we have special discounts at many of the rental businesses in town. Changes and alterations in contracted rental items or service times may result in additional charges that are the responsibility of the client. Please note that the client is responsible for charges due to breakage, replacement, or missing items from your rental order.

Guest Count

We ask that you provide us with a final guest count and all of the event details no less than seven (7) days prior to your event date for all full-service catered events. Changes in final counts will be honored when possible and may be subject to additional costs. This final count will be the basis for calculation of your bill, regardless of the turnout or last minute cancellations. Please note that any changes in menu or guest count may result in an increase in your final bill.

Allergen Statement

Our catering menu is 100% Gluten Free and beyond that, the label is the best source in determining what is in the product. If you are allergic or sensitive to certain foods or ingredients, you should always read the ingredient statement and any allergen statements to ensure the product does not contain ingredients of concern to you. Please ask us if you have specific concerns or questions.

Note that tree nuts are used in food production at our kitchen facility.
